Each row represents a single interview, and each column shows important details like creation date, status, language, duration, and participant responses. Think of it as a spreadsheet view of all your research data in one place. Interview Flagging: Conveo’s automated quality control system that identifies potential issues with interviews, including high fraud risk (based on VPN usage, time zone mismatches), profanity detection, and adverse events. These flags help you quickly identify which interviews may need closer review before including them in your analysis. Interview Transcripts: The detailed view of individual interviews that includes both the original language transcript and translated versions, complete with answer classifications (answered, partially answered, off-topic, didn’t understand) and timestamps for easy navigation and video playback.

Step 2: Review Interview Status and Quality

1. Check the Status column to see which interviews are:

2. Review flagged interviews in the Flags column:
   • Look for fraud risk indicators

Understanding Fraud Detection

Conveo automatically monitors participant authenticity to ensure you receive genuine, quality responses. Our fraud detection system analyzes multiple signals to identify potentially fraudulent participants.

What We Check

When participants join interviews, we automatically verify:

• Device identity - Detects if the same person is using multiple accounts
• VPN usage - Identifies if someone is hiding their real location
• Browser tampering - Detects if someone has modified their browser to appear different
• Location mismatches - Checks if their timezone matches their claimed location
• Operating system - Verifies their computer type matches what they report

Additionally, you can optionally enable device lock-in during study setup. When enabled, participants must complete their interview on the same device they started on, preventing link sharing or device switching mid-interview.

Risk Levels

Based on the signals detected, participants are categorized into risk levels:

• Low risk - Usually legitimate users with privacy tools (e.g., standard VPN usage)
• Medium risk - Some suspicious activity detected that warrants review

When fraud is detected, you have several options:

• Review flagged interviews - Suspicious interviews appear in the Flags column for manual review
